The last two Inglis Classic Yearling Sales have been highly successful for Fairview Park Stud, with their top lot last year being a Press Statement colt who sold for $270,000 and has since been named Spokesman, while their 2018 draft has already clocked up eight three year-old winners including the promising Hinchpin (Hinchinbrook), who was Gr.3 placed as a two year-old and has been sighted in group company already this season. Throw in Fairview Park Stud’s Inglis graduate Aramco, who won the 2019 Singapore Lion City Cup, and his half-sister, Golden Slipper winner Mossfun, as well as promising group placed winner Rocket Fuel, and buyers know this farm produces quality racehorses.

Fairview Park Stud’s Linda Duckworth said, “With close relations to Microphone, Holler, Ilovethiscity, Savabeel, Yell, Star Rolling, and Tyzone, we are really happy with our Classic draft for 2020. They are a lovely range of yearlings with many exciting stallions like American Pharoah, Capitalist, Maurice as well as proven sires Deep Field, Star Witness and All Too Hard.”

The 2020 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale draft for Fairview Park Stud consists of eighteen yearlings spread over fifteen different stallions.

A half-brother to the up and coming type Hinchpin is Lot 608, a Your Song colt out of winning mare Aroha Cat from the Typhoon Tracy family. Also by Your Song is Lot 36, a half-sister to last year’s top lot for Fairview Park Stud, and Lot 524, a colt out of a winning half-sister to Gr.3 winner Lightinthenite. Gr.1 winner and proven sire All Too Hard is represented by Lot 212 a filly with residual value, being out of a winning full sister to Gr.1 winner Holler (Commands) from the family of Vocalist, Yell, and Champion 2YO last season Microphone.

Proven sire Star Witness has a colt, Lot 619, out of a young city race winning mare by Flying Spur, from the family of Grey Song, while a close relation to 16-race winning Gr.3 winner Tyzone is Lot 618, a colt by Dream Ahead out of a young winning full sister to Tyzone’s dam.

Triple Crown winner American Pharoah already has a Breeders Cup winner, and his first Southern Hemisphere crop are bound to excite the judges. Fairview Park Stud will offer Lot 314, a filly out of winning Snitzel mare Miss Fearless, who is a half-sister to Gr.2 winner Star Rolling.

Japan’s gallopers are taking the world by storm, and Fairview Park Stud are fortunate to present two yearlings by Horse of the Year Maurice, including Lot 228, a colt out of stakes winner Kishkat, and Lot 332, the first foal of Mount Omei, a winning Fastnet Rock mare from the family of Savabeel.

If anyone knows what a Golden Slipper winner looks like, it’s Fairview Park Stud who sold Mossfun, and they will offer Lot 189, a colt by Capitalist who is the first foal of six race winner and Gr.3 placed I Am Gypsy (I Am Invincible).
Golden Rose winner Astern’s first crop includes Lot 541, a colt out of stakes placed winner Unimpeachable, who is closely related to Saucy Affair, making the naming possibilities for this colt quite cheeky. From Press Statement’s second crop, Lot 53, is a colt out of Chelsea Rose, a winning half-sister to Gr.1 Randwick Guineas winner Ilovethiscity.

Also represented are yearlings by Deep Field, Denman, Epaulette, Sooboog, Star Turn, and Stratum Star.
