The STALLIONS web
site is owned and operated by a joint venture of Bluebloods and
Global Racing Enterprises Pty. Ltd.
Bluebloods is the premier
thoroughbred journal in Australia and is now in its 25th year
of publication. Originally founded by Brian Russell it is now
owned and managed by Andrew Reichard and partners.
Bluebloods also publishes
the acclaimed Stallions annual edited by Jennifer Churchill,
a hard copy sister publication to our on-line stallion Directory.
Stallions is now in its 20th year and is widely recognised throughout
the world as the best directory of its kind. It was always our
intention to use the STALLIONS website to enhance
the wealth of information already provided by the hard copy
book. It is our aim to provide the most comprehensive database
of its kind anywhere with additional features such as multimedia
including video.
STALLIONS joint
venture partner Global Racing Enterprises is owned and operated
by Jon Freyer. Jon is a highly respected Bloodstock Agent and a
founding member of the Australian Bloodstock Agents Federation.
With over twenty years experience in the thoroughbred industry,
Jon is considered an expert pedigree analyst and acts as a consultant
to several leading commercial breeders. He is currently the breeding
industry representative on RIPAC (Racing Industry Participants Advisory
Committee).
The STALLIONS
website, which has been running for eight years is edited by
Michele Cullen. Michele updates news and information on a regular
basis which enables studs to keep visitors notified of their
stallions developments and news. Website design and maintenance
is provided by David Reichard, while the bulk of our data now
comes from the Bloodhound
database, another Bluebloods joint venture.
This
allows studs to present STALLIONS in the best
and most accurate light, with the ability for comprehensive research
into matings, along with recent performances of the offspring.
The STALLIONS team
have the knowledge and experience to provide you with the information
you need to select the right stallion for your mare and breed that
champion.
Good
Luck,
The STALLIONS Team
