1. Become a Member.

2. You can browse the auctions at any time without registering as a Member, but to bid, you must first Become a Member of STALLIONS.

3. To register, simply click on the Become A Member link. Choose a user name which you can easily remember, and fill in the other required fields. Your password will automatically be generated and emailed to you. You can change your password at any time by choosing the Member Services option and then clicking the Change Your Password link.

4. You only need to register once, as you can change your user information at any time by choosing Member Services, and then clicking the Edit My Registration link.

5.There may only be one account per email address. The system will not let you create more than one account with the same email address for security reasons.

6. Under certain conditions your account may need to be verified by the STALLIONS administration team before it is activated.  In this case, you will not be allowed to place bids until your account is activated.

7. Once you have an active account, you are ready to bid. Simply navigate to the auction you want to bid on via the listings or using the search features, and then place your bid.

8. You may bid by first confirming your username and password and then placing one bid in the ENTER YOUR BID section or by activating the ProxyBID

9. ProxyBID works as your agent. When you place a bid, enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the nomination. This amount will always be kept secret. Whenever someone else places a bid, the STALLIONS Auction system will automatically enter the lowest possible bid for you, up to your maximum stated bid, until you are the winning bidder. At the end of an auction, if you are the high bidder, you are the winner. As the winner of the auction, you only pay the lowest possible winning bid, not necessarily your maximum bid.

10. Note the type of auction that you are bidding on. It may be Reserved or Unreserved. Auctions offered by the STALLIONS site is Standard Highest Price Wins.

11. It is highly recommended that you read over all sale, payment and particular stallion terms and conditions before you place your bid. Please note that by bidding, you are legally bound to purchase the nomination if you are the winning bidder under Australian and applicable International Laws.

12. Once an auction closes, a confirmation email will be sent to the winning bidder. If you are the winning bidder the STALLIONS team will contact you to arrange for payment and execution of service agreements.  STALLIONS will contact you via the contact information you provided upon registration.
