Feel free to discuss terms of payment, service agreements etc as these things may affect your interest in the nomination. Place your bid for the nomination, taking note of the any reserve price and/or minimum bid.  Keep track of the auction, making additional bids where necessary. If you are successful in your bidding, when the auction closes, both you and the seller will be sent an email. STALLIONS administration will contact you with the relevant documentation and service agreements to be signed.

What fees will I be charged ?
It costs nothing to join STALLIONS and there is no cost for listing nominations for sale or for auction. If you sell your item, a commission based of 5% on the closing value of the auction is payable. Your item is considered to be sold if one or more bids have been met or passed your reserve price.

What is Proxy Bidding ?
This is the most common type of online auction and is available on all STALLIONS auctions. Basically, STALLIONS's auction robot bids on your behalf. All you need to do is enter the maximum amount you want to pay for the item in question and the system does the rest. It will raise your bid, only when necessary, by the designated bid increment. So your bid will be increased by the smallest amount necessary to win the auction, until you have reached your maximum. Then, you can choose to either drop out of the bidding or enter a new maximum. Remember, in a Proxy Bidding Auction the system bids on your behalf. If there is a tie for highest bidder the earlier bid will take preference.  If you're still not quite sure about proxy bidding, have a look at our explanation and example in STALLIONS's Frequently Asked Questions.

What are the Terms of the nomination ?
All bid prices are in Australian Dollars.  The terms for each nomination will be clearly outlined on the main auction page and may vary for each nomination.  They will nevertheless be clearly marked.  Feel free at anytime to contact STALLIONS to confirm any details you are unsure of.
