	Shamardal wins included the Group I Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly and the Poule d'Essai des Poulains at Longchamp in France.
	Shamardal also won two Group I events in England the St James's Palace Stakes at York and the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket.
