In Ireland last weekend, Danehill Dancer’s daughter Walk On Bye went some way to emulate theachievements of her dam with a win in the Group 3 Anglesey Stakes at the Curragh.   Walk On Bye is out of the Group 1 Haydock Sprint Cup heroine, Pipalong (by Pips Pride).     Trained in Ireland, by Tommy Stack, Walk On Bye, was only making her second racetrack appearance and has kept her winning record in tact  improving from a Maiden win at the course.

Bred by Tower Bloodstock Walk On Bye was purchased by her trainer’s son James (also known as Fozzy) at the 2008 Goffs Million sale for €68,000.  Easily handling the 1200m of the Anglesey Walk On Bye won’t have any trouble with the Goffs Million Sales Race, also run over 1200m, her next target.

Her sire, Danehill Dancer, is having a fantastic northern season with 14 stakes winners this year, with three of those from his juvenile crop including Alfred NobelLillie Langry and Walk On Bye.   While in the southern hemisphere he has been represented by 10 stakes winners with Indian Ocean his lone juvenile stakes winner.  Danehill Dancer returns to Coolmore Australia in New South Wales this spring and his fee has been set at $88,000 (inc gst), that’s a $22,000 off last year’s fee to breeders from Coolmore.
