In a major marketing coup, the Australian thoroughbred industry through Magic Millions and this week’s National Horses in Training Sale will be showcased in a special documentary in Hong Kong.  Action from the sale will be featured by leading broadcaster Apollo Ng.
Ng will feature interviews with the organisers and participants along with auction highlights  on the racing channel in Hong Kong.
Magic Millions Managing Director David Chester, is naturally delighted with the news, and said  “This is a ringing endorsement of Magic Millions and of the Horses in Training Sale,”     “The airing of the programme is sure to greatly benefit the Australian industry and in particular those clients who support our Horses in Training Sale.”
“ Graduates of the sale continue to race with great distinction in many racing areas, including Hong Kong.”
“Magic Millions would like to thank Trade Queensland Hong Kong for their involvement in the creation of this documentary and their ongoing assistance in marketing the Australian thoroughbred in Hong Kong.”
Australia and New Zealand are a primary source of racehorses that compete in Hong Kong and the results week in and out show this.  Just last Sunday at Sha Tin, on the ten race card, eight of the winners were bred in Australia and Unique Jewellery was bred in New Zealand.
As a result, owners and trainers from Hong Kong are major buyers of Australian and New Zealand bred horses.
The National Horses in Training Sale gets under way today at 4pm (Qld time) and can be watched over the internet on the Magic Millions website.
