Muswellbrook, NSW (Feb 8th, 2010), THOROUGHBRED Breeders NSW (TBNSW) is to conduct a seminar
and a race night at Canterbury race centre on Thursday February 18.
The seminar runs from 1.00pm to 5.00pm, and includes topics like
“Business and Tax Tips for Thoroughbred Breeders,” (Adam Tims),
“Understanding the Australian Stud Book’s Role and Thoroughbred Breeding Information,” (Michael Ford),
“Accessing and Understanding Thoroughbred Sales and Racing Information” (Andrew Reichard) and
“Managing Your Investments – Buying and Selling Bloodstock.” (Jonathan D’Arcy).
In extending an open invitation to all interested parties to attend, TBNSW executive Andrew Cook points out that those who can benefit from the seminar includes breeders and investors conducting thoroughbred businesses, racehorse owners interested in knowing more about breeding and sale processes and anyone interested in becoming involved in both breeding and racing.
After the seminar patrons can enjoy, with the TBNSW management, a three course meal and drinks in the Directors’ Dining Room at the Canterbury racecourse, one that will host a race meeting that evening.
Prices for the functions are Seminar and Race Night Package
$200 (TBNSW members) or
$250 (non members) and for the seminar only
$100 (TBNSW members) and
