THE 13 second crop sons of daughters of promising young stallion Barely a Moment are a highlight of Lindsay Park Stud’s impressive 2010 Adelaide Magic Millions draft.
A triple Gr.1-winning son of Breeders’ Cup Juvenile-Gr.1 winner Gilded Time (Damascus male line), his wins including the VRC Sires’ Produce, Toorak Handicap and Invitation Stakes at the elite level, Barely a Moment has made an encouraging start too with early runners including city winner Whipthebrewer and they should just keep improving as they mature. Barely a Moment is out of the winning Danehill mare Lady Danna and is linebred to the champion racehorse Native Dancer.
His first youngster from the Lindsay Park draft through the ring is Lot 80, a chestnut colt from Miss Balhannah (by Keepers), a winner of four races and half-sister to the city winners Gallium and Superdan. A bay filly is next in the draft as Lot 90, she is from Nabeul (by Encosta de Lago) and is the first foal of a winner, from the family of the NZ Derby-Gr.1 winner Roysyn. Lot 93 is a bay colt from New Fibs (by Casual Lies) and his dam is a half-sister to the dual Listed winner Dazzling Belle, dam of the Gr.1 placed Manten.
Another bay colt follows as Lot 107 and he’s the second foal of Princess Delight (by Agnes World), a half-sister to the stakes placed dual city winner Gladwell. Lot 121 (pictured below) is a bay filly from Savannah (by Marauding). This filly’s dam is a Gr.3 placed dual city winner from the family of the dual South African Horse of the Year Flaming Rock.
Lot 156, a bay filly, carries a double cross of Danehill as she is the second foal of Tiara Dane (by Nothin’ Leica Dane), a city placed half-sister to the stakes placed Brave Lead. Lot 175 is a grey filly from All Revenge (by Danske) and is another with a double dose of Danehill. Her dam is a half-sister to the 11 times winner Blue Clancy and from the family of the Gr.1 stayer Shiva’s Revenge.

Lot 177 is a bay filly from Alzabella (by Alzao). She is a half-sister to the Listed winner Reigning Belle, dam of the stakes placed multiple city winner Jeune’s Reign. Lot 206 is a chestnut filly from Classy Gift (by With Class) and is a half-sister to the multiple city winner Urbane Boy, out of a half-sister to the dual Listed winner Giftenary.
Lot 236 is a bay or brown filly from Hitapotomoss (by Twig Moss). This yearling is a daughter of a stakes winner whose first three foals are all winners. Lot 266 is a bay filly from Melancholy (by Northern Prospect) and her dam is a half-sister to the US stakes winner Dylan’s Crafty, dam of the seven times Listed winner Ashwood C C.
Lot 324 is a bay colt from Southern Petrel (by Bluebird). His dam is a half-sister to the city winners Lady Lisbon and Potomac, from the family of the stakes winners Sparks Fly and Rancho Spark. Lot 331 is a bay filly from Swing Embrace (by Bianconi) and is inbred to Danzig. She is out of a city placed half-sister to the stakes placed Penny Call.
Red Ransom’s Gr.3-winning sprinting son Face Value (ex Freckled Face by Polish Patriot) is another highly regarded member of the Lindsay Park roster with his winners including SAJC Sires’ Produce Stakes-Gr.3 winner Silent Surround, and four of the stud’s draft are by this Gr.1 placed sprinter-miler. First cab off the rank is Lot 77, a bay filly from Lucky Lucaya (by Chief’s Crown). Inbred to Danzig, she is a three-quarter sister to the Listed winner Cinque and from the family of recent Macau stakes winner Golden Pistols and young stallion Keep The Faith.
Lot 133 is a bay filly from Snow Angel (by Zabeel) and her dam (a half-sister to the Listed winner Rain And Thunder) has had four to race - all winners, including the smart Hong Kong galloper Grand General. Lot 251 is a bay colt from Liefling (by Alleged) and he is a half-brother to the metropolitan winner Senro Kisaki, out of an Ascot-winning half-sister to the French stakes winner River Cara. Lot 334 is a brown filly from Tarnoc (by Brocco). Her dam is out of the stakes placed Tarn, daughter of the six times Group winner Lake Country.
The speedy Real Jester (ex Dangerous Seam by Straight Strike) won the Merson Cooper Stakes-LR at two and has sired the likes of Red Pluton and Real Cheeky. He also stands at Lindsay Park and his son, Lot 296 (ex Reine Sauvage by Indian Danehill (pictured below)), is a grandson of the Listed winner Reigning Belle.

The Lindsay Park draft also consists of well-related yearlings by outside stallions.
Lot 13 is a bay colt by Churchill Downs from Cocktail Evening (by Jeune). His dam is a city-winning half-sister to the Listed winner Reigning Belle.
Lot 41 is a bay filly by Dash For Cash from Giftenary (by Bicentenary) and her dual stakeswinning dam has already produced four winners, including the stakes placed Miss Rogers.
Lot 56 is a bay colt by Elvstroem from Idealism (by Zabeel) and is the first foal of a three-quarter sister to the NZ Derby-Gr.1 winner Hades.
Lot 87 is a bay colt by Tiger Hill from My Duchess (by Royal Academy) and is a half-brother to the stakes placed Laletta from the black type family of Schubert, Cargo Cult, Immortality, Pinezero and Gonski.
Lot 89 is a bay colt by Zeditave from Na-Ayim (by Shirley Heights). He is a half-brother to the stakes placed northern hemisphere winners Tamreen and Mubkera, from the family of Rainbow Quest and Scenic.
Lot 105 is a chestnut filly by Choisir and is the second foal of dual Listed winner Prancelot (by Jeune).
Lot 120, a bay colt by Charge Forward from Sapphire Girl (by Danzero) is a grandson of a half-sister to the globetrotting champion Fantastic Light.
Lot 122 is a bay colt by Churchill Downs from Scarlett Dahare (by Red Ransom) and is a grandson of the Gr.3 mare Lady Dahar, daughter of the Gr.1 winner Mellseur.
Lot 172, a bay colt by Bel Esprit from Yahtzee (by At Talaq), is a half-brother to five winners including the stakes placed One of a Kind. Dam is a half-sister to the Gr.3 winner Excel Pilot.
Lot 285, a bay filly by Mossman from Princess Society (by Desert Prince) is the first living foal of a half-sister to the UK stakes winner Swift Tango.
Lot 293, a bay or brown filly by God’s Own from Red Pluton (by Real Jester), is the first foal of a speedy Listed-winning juvenile whose dam Pluton (Zabaleta) also won at stakes level at two.
Lot 318, a bay filly by Elusive Quality from Siberie (by Caerleon) is a half-sister to the three times Hong Kong winner Elite Sixty-Six, out of a three-quarter sister to the French Gr.3 winner Truly Special.
Lot 327 is a chestnut filly by Foreplay from Sundae Morning (by Heart of Darkness) and is a half-sister to the city winner Sovereign General and out of a half-sister to the Gr.2 winner Ra Sun.
Lot 363 is a grey colt by Dash For Cash from Be Sweet Marie (by West By West). His dam is an imported stakes winner.
