Melbourne, Vic (March 9th, 2010) - Sea The Stars has passed his first exam at stud by getting five of his first mares scanned in foal. Amongst those that are in foal include the 2009 Group 1 Prix Jean Romanet winner Alpine Rose and Bordighera dam of the multiple Group 1 winners and sires George Washington and Grandera.

Sea The Stars (Cape Cross - Urban Sea)
Centreofattention a full-sister to dual Group 1 winning two-year-old and young Coolmore sire Holy Roman Emperor, is also in foal, as is Sewards Folly, dam of the very useful Group 2 winning sprinter Sayif. The fifth mare scanned in foal is Zarkasha dam of Champion filly Zarkava.
Zarkava herself recently gave birth to a Dalakhani filly and she has a date with Sea The Stars in the coming weeks.
Amazingly, his gilt edge first book of mares includes over 90 Group 1 winners or the dams of Group 1 winners, which he will cover at a fee of €85,000.
