Rivers End Stud has announced it has purchased a controlling interest in Australian Derby (Gr 1) and Epsom Handicap (Gr 1) winner Clangalang (Clang) from Eliza Park and will be standing him in South Australia this season at  Wellington in South Australia.
Clangalang sired his second stakeswinner recently when Eagle (4 g Unbeatable by Casual Lies) dead-heated the Group 1 Sprint Trophy at Penang last Sunday.
Clangalang’s grandsire Bellotto (USA) is still alive and well at Rivers End. According to Steven Bois the son of Mr Prospector ‘may cover a few mares this year if he retains his current health status.’ Other stallions standing at Rivers End Stud this year are Akhadan (Danehill), Devaraja (Sir Tristram) and Kurt (Dolphin Street)
Rivers End Stud is holding an open day on August 7.
