Lomar Park stallion Arena (Danehill - Lee’s Bid, by Tawfiq) secured his eighth individual stakes winner when Lady’s Angel (Arena - Lady Sublime, by Hurricane Sky) roared home to win the Listed Hall Mark Stakes (1200m) at Randwick.

The consistent mare sat back in the field before hitting the line strongly to beat a smart field. The win was Lady’s Angel’s fifth from 11 starts with her prizemoney shooting to more than $23,000 after the four-year-old’s latest success.

“This mare is a really honest performer,” Lady’s Angel’s trainer Joe Pride said. “She was only having her 11th start today and she has been in the money eight times.”
