Racetree duo Hotel Grand (Grand Lodge - Terrestial, by Star Watch) and Monashee Mountain (Danzig - Prospector’s Delite, by Mr Prospector) continued to represent their Queensland base with distinction by combining for a winning treble on Friday.

Hotel Grand produced his first double of the season with winners at Cranbourne and Ipswich.

Call Me Paris (Hotel Grand - Demanding, by L Cassidy) posted a win over older opposition in the TPI Queensland Maiden Plate (1350m) at Ipswich before Catawumpus (Hotel Grand - Myamble, by Sir Dapper) surprised with his 100-1 win in the Star News Group Maiden Plate (1300m).

Monashee Mountain contributed to the treble when his Guy Walter-trained son Monashee Woods (Monashee Mountain - Robina Woods, by Baltusrol) claimed the Storage King Maiden (1200m).

Monashee Mountain has produced 35 winners for the season with 23 of those successes coming in his home state of Queensland.

Hotel Grand is standing for $13,200 (inc. GST) while Monashee Mountain is working through his 2011 book of mares at a service fee of $8800 (inc. GST).
