Incentivise

What a great spring it has been for Eureka Stud, Spirit Of Boom represented by his first Group One winner with a gutsy all the way Manikato Stakes, 1200m victory for Jonker whilst Incentivise from a great old Eureka family has proven himself one of the best stayers in the country.

Meanwhile Encryption has his first yearlings being prepared for the sales, giving everyone at Eureka plenty to look forward to – including the upcoming Magic Millions which Harry McAlpine always enjoys…

What puts the magic into this race and sales series for you?
The timing of the sale is very good with the buzz of horses being set for the race series. And also it being the beginning of the year when people have reset and are looking to try their luck on some fresh horses.
It all resonates into a great atmosphere.

Who are your favourite stallions?
I can’t go past Spirit of Boom but this year we are excited to see Encryption’s first crop of yearlings sell and we have some very racy individuals to sell by him. He is a very good looking and impeccably bred son
of Lonhro who had the talent to go with it.

Describe your draft.
We have some exceptional Encryptions including a half-brother to the exciting Miami Fleiss. And the Spirit Of Booms out of the nice mares he is receiving are outstanding types again; including a full sister to Outback Barbie and a half-brother to Pippie.

Which horse in your draft looks the best chanceto win a Magic Millions 2YO Classic or 3YO Guineas?
Spirit of Booms are very good at taking out Magic Millions races so I’d say any of them are a chance! Encryption was a pre-Christmas Group placed two-year-old who trained on to win the Danehill Stakes-G2, 1200m so I am sure they will also be contenders.

Eureka’s Magic Millions draft is so often a first port of call for many buyers and many will be eager to inspect the newest group of Spirit Of Booms…
